The most desirable New Year villas in St Barthélemy are usually locked in nine to twelve months ahead, especially the ones with views of the Gustavia harbor fireworks or rooftop terraces. Six months out, inventory thins fast and the largest villas (six bedrooms and up) tend to disappear first. If your dates are flexible by a day or two, mention it in your request, this often unlocks better options and better New Year rates.
Almost every villa enforces a seven night minimum across the New Year window, with a Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday turnover. A handful of villas accept ten to fourteen night stays only during this period to absorb the full Christmas and New Year fortnight. We will only show you villas that match the dates you submit.
The fireworks are launched from the harbor of Gustavia. Villas in Gustavia heights, Lurin, Colombier and Pointe Milou often have line of sight or partial sea view of the show.
