Gustavia is the one address on St Barth where you can leave the car parked. Dinner, the boutiques, a drink by the harbor: it is all on foot. I send clients here when they tell me they want to be out every evening without thinking about driving.

You will still want a car for the days you explore the rest of the island, but in town you barely touch it. It suits people who like to walk and be in the middle of things. It is also one of the most expensive areas on the island, along with St Jean, and that is the honest trade for being this central.
