Pools in St Barth come in many shapes. Cliff villas often have negative edge or infinity pools that frame the horizon. Beach proximity villas tend toward shallow walk in pools that work better with kids. Honeymoon villas sometimes have a single plunge pool sized for two and angled for the sunset.

Almost. The vast majority of villas have at least one private pool. The exceptions are smaller in town apartments and a handful of small villas where the topography did not allow it. If a private pool is non negotiable, we filter the shortlist accordingly.
Some are, most are not. The Caribbean water and air temperatures keep the pool warm enough through most of the year, but in January and February the cooler nights can pull pool temperatures down. Villas with pool heating exist and the heating is enabled at the start of your stay on request. Mention it in the form for January or February dates.
For a couple or two couples without kids, an infinity pool with a strong sea view is hard to beat for the photos and the sunset. With young kids, an infinity edge becomes a constraint. The shortlist matches your group, not the most photogenic pool.
Pool fencing is rarer than in some destinations, but several villas do have it. Walk in pools with shallow steps work better with toddlers than infinity edges. Mention kids' ages in the form and the shortlist filters on what is realistically safe for your group.
Yes. Several villas in Lurin, Pointe Milou and Colombier have lap length pools. Tell us in the form if you swim daily and the shortlist will only include villas with a usable lap.
Yes. Pool maintenance happens once or twice a week as standard, in the morning so it does not interrupt your day. Daily skimming can be added on request for windy weeks.
