Families need different things from couples. The lagoon side of the island, the protected bay of Grand Cul-de-Sac, the long calm beach of Flamands, are all easier with kids than the steep cliff villas. A walk in pool with shallow steps beats an infinity pool when there are toddlers. A separate kids' wing matters when grandparents come too.
Through partnerships with the leading rental agencies in St Barthélemy, the family villas that match these constraints come back at rates often lower than the agencies advertise on their own sites.
Phase one is the villa shortlist. Phase two is the on-island concierge. Babysitter for the parents' night out, baby cribs and high chairs delivered before arrival, kids' menu with the in-villa chef, kid friendly beach picks for each day. All from the same person.

/ Family villa FAQ
Grand Cul-de-Sac is the calmest pick for families with young kids: a protected lagoon, very gentle waves, and a long shallow walk-in beach perfect for toddlers. Flamands offers the longest sandy beach on the island and easy access. St Jean works well for active families since the bay is calm and the village has groceries, pharmacies and casual dining within walking distance. Saline and Lorient are quieter but the beaches have more swell.
Yes. Travel cribs, high chairs, baby monitors, beach umbrellas, snorkel kits in kids' sizes, beach toys and even baby bath tubs are routinely delivered to the villa before arrival. Tell us the kids' ages in the form and the gear list is built into the welcome.
Some villas have shallow walk-in pools or pools with built in benches that work well for kids. Pool fencing is rarer in St Barth than in some destinations, but several villas do have it. If pool safety is a deal breaker for your family, mention it in the form and the shortlist will only contain villas that match.
Yes. English speaking babysitters with experience and references are available across the island. We typically arrange one or two evenings of babysitting per family week so the parents can get a night out at Bonito or L'Isola, with a backup contact if anything comes up.
Multi-generational families do well in villas with separated bedroom wings or independent guest cottages on the property. Grandparents typically appreciate ground floor master suites with a step-free path to the pool and the dining area. Tell us the family composition in the form and we will only show villas that work for everyone in your group.
Plenty. Catamaran day trip to Colombier with snorkeling, kids' kite surf classes at Grand Cul-de-Sac, scuba intro for teenagers, horseback riding at Flamands, beach hikes, and a half day boat to nearby Île Fourchue. Once your villa is booked, all of it is organized in advance and adapted to the kids' ages.
