Vitet sits at the highest point of St Barth, and the views are as dramatic as you would expect. From this elevated eastern neighborhood, you can see nearly the entire island — the lagoons of Grand Cul-de-Sac and Petit Cul-de-Sac to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the north, and the hills of Lurin and Colombier to the west. On clear days, the neighboring islands appear on every horizon.
Villas in Vitet tend to be large estate-style properties on generous hillside plots. The elevation provides not only exceptional views but also consistent cooling breezes and a sense of being above it all — literally. The architecture is varied, from traditional Caribbean estates to ultra-modern glass structures designed to maximize the panoramic views.
Vitet is not for everyone — there are no beaches within walking distance, and the winding hillside roads require confident driving. But for guests who prioritize views, space, and privacy above all else, Vitet delivers what no other neighborhood can. Grand Cul-de-Sac is about 5 minutes downhill, and St Jean is about 8 minutes. You descend from the clouds when you want the beach, and return to the summit for sunset.
